adidas adds another Foam Runner colourway to its line-up. Similar to previous Yeezy Foam Runner iterations such as the “Onyx” and “Mineral Blue”, the upcoming “Carbon” edition boasts a similar monotone tooling that’s easy to wear. Once a meme among the footwear community, the Foam Runner has secured a space for itself, nestled between the world of slides and sneakers.
Foregoing the marbled effect as seen on the other MX versions, the pair boasts a consistent carbon shade from heel to toe. The standard arrangement of perforations can be found on the sidewall, a feature that encourages breathability and adds to the shoe’s overall flexibility throughout its stride. Apart from a small adidas Mountain logo debossed into the outsole underneath, branding is kept to a minimum on the hybrid trainer, with the Foam Runner’s tooling more than recognisable.
